|Khomas Regional Council donates building material to fire victims in Havanna

The |Khomas Regional Council has donated building material to four families whose dwellings were gutted by fire in Havanna last week.

The material, which was handed over by the Councillor of the Moses ||Garoëb Constituency, Stefanus Ndengu, consisted of 60 iron sheets, 30 poles, and 12 pines.

About eight shacks and a repair shop burnt down in the Havanna Settlement at about 15:00 on Saturday in Oshakati Street, leaving more than 50 people homeless.

The fire has left a devastating impact on the residents in the area, as they have lost their homes and properties, with only rubble remaining.
