The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and Bank Windhoek have formalised a new partnership aimed at strengthening communication and expanding outreach for both institutions.

The agreement of N$1.6 million over three years positions NBC as a key platform for the bank to reach wider audiences.

The Bank of Namibia reported a 90% achievement in the performance of its strategic pillars and enablers for the years 2025/2027.

This was announced by the Governor of the Bank, Ebson Uanguta, during the release of the central bank's annual report.

The Bank of Namibia (BoN) and the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) will strengthen regulatory cooperation following the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing collaboration in regulating the telecommunications and financial sectors.

The Deputy Minister of Finance, Maureen Hinda-Mbuende, has tabled amendments to three laws in the financial sector in the National Assembly.

These are the Value Added Tax, Stamp Duties, and the Income Tax.
