NamWater's dam levels across Namibia show mixed results, with some reservoirs rising and others declining slightly.

According to NamWater's latest weekly dam bulletin, the country's total storage stands at 80.9%, a slight drop from last week.

Dams around the country are experiencing increased volumes of water inflows, following heavy rains.

Several major dams, including Von Bach, Omatako, Otjivero, Hardap, Neckartal and Naute, have seen heavy masses of water fill up their holding capacity.

Hardap Dam Resort's occupancy drop due to low dam levels

The Hardap Dam Resort near Mariental, which offers a range of water activities, has seen a drop in the occupancy rate due to the low Hardap Dam water levels.
 
This was revealed by the Public Relations Officer of Namibia Wildlife Resort, Nelson Ashipala. 

Dam levels record slight decrease

According to Namwater’s Weekly Dam Bulletin, as of Monday this week, most dams in Namibia are filled to 74.9% of full capacity.

This is a drop of 0.3% in water levels from the 75.2% full capacity recorded last week.

This is despite the country receiving some good rains recently.
