When he took over as the Governor of the Ohangwena Region, two critical issues needed Sebastian Ndeitunga's attention: a lack of potable water and a poor road network, areas which he prioritised. 

The Omaheke Region has made some strides in terms of economic advancement, social progression, and human capital development despite challenges.

This was stated during the governor's State of the Region Address.

Dryland regions such as the Erongo Region are under threat from deforestation, recurrent drought, and climate change, which could potentially threaten the livelihoods of the inhabitants.
