The San communities of Epinga Village in the Omundaungilo Constituency of the Ohangwena Region are ready for elections. 

They said voting is their democratic right, and they would like to elect a leadership that will work on addressing their plights and alleviating poverty among their people.

The SADC Electoral Observation Mission (SEOM) for Namibia's 2024 Presidential and National Assembly Elections was launched in Windhoek today.

SADC member states have contributed personnel and resources to constitute the teams of observers under the SEOM.

Stampriet residents have expressed mixed feelings about the upcoming elections, with some intending to vote while others may choose to abstain from voting.

Stampriet is a village in the Hardap Region, located east of Mariental.

Uncertainty looms over Stampriet as the upcoming elections approach. 

About 400 election officials from the Tsumkwe and Grootfontein clusters are receiving training.

The training coincided with the issuing of duplicate voter cards for Grootfontein and Tsumkwe constituencies.
