The atmosphere was electric at the Wynberg Military Base as a capacity crowd gathered to witness the inaugural Kathea Energy Nkosi Cup final between the host nation, South Africa, and Namibia's women's team.
The match began in spectacular fashion, with Namibia swiftly taking the lead within the first 40 seconds. Marcia Venter made a powerful run up the right flank before expertly setting up Gillian Hermanus to break the deadlock.
