The Windhoek Golf and Country Club successfully brought the community together through a series of games, promoting a sense of camaraderie and togetherness.

According to studies, golf has been scientifically proven to have positive effects on one's health, particularly benefiting the heart. Engaging in a round of golf, which involves walking an average course, can significantly improve overall well-being.

By walking 18 holes three to five times a week, individuals can achieve an optimal level of endurance exercise, ultimately enhancing their cardiovascular health.

Keeping this in mind, the Windhoek Golf and Country Club organized a stableford competition to further foster social cohesion among its members.

Participants enthusiastically took part in various categories, including individual and team competitions for both male and female players.

Nbc Sport had the opportunity to interview some of the players, who shared their thoughts and experiences regarding the event.

The deserving winners were duly rewarded with prizes, while the runners-up were also recognized for their active participation.
