The elderly came to bid farewell to the late President Dr. Hage Geingob at the final held ||Kharas Regional memorial service.
 
Addressing those in attendance, the Public Relations Officer for the Senior Citizen Association of Namibia, Anna Joseph, remembers the late President as an advocate for the rights of senior citizens who never shunned away from assisting the most vulnerable in society. 

Many from all seven constituencies of the ||Kharas Region came to celebrate the life and history of Dr. Hage Geingob, whom they described as the envy of many and a friend to all. 

Joseph says senior citizens will forever be grateful to the late president, who was instrumental in improving their monthly pension grants and who advocated for social justice for senior citizens. 

Joseph equally paid tribute to the Geingob family and Madame Geingos, thanking them for their part in shaping the man widely acknowledged for his visionary leadership.
