The Students' Union of Namibia (SUN) has raised concerns over the lack of functional toilets and water at Ndama Junior Primary School, which has left learners without proper sanitation for three weeks and led to the suspension of classes.
SUN is calling on the Ministry of Education and the Kavango East Directorate to urgently intervene.
SUN has set a deadline for the Ministry to address the situation by next Wednesday, warning of "radical action to protect the learners' right to education" if the issue is not resolved.
They also plan to investigate similar problems at other schools nationwide.
