Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) presidential candidate and leader of the official opposition party, McHenry Venaani, promises to use 10% of the national GDP on agriculture if elected in power.
Venaani says this will create jobs and address hunger and poverty.
To serve its people Venaani added that if voted in, the PDM government will only have 15 ministers and four deputy ministers, as it will help set aside funds for the well-being of its people.
Addressing PDM supporters, Venaani also promises to address water issues in the Kavango East Region by using the perennial river's water.
