Namibia's national football teams received a major boost today-not on the pitch, but in the form of brand-new official kits.

Standing here at Football House in Windhoek, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and national pride, as Tim Ekandjo and friends, in their own personal capacity, officially handed over brand-new kits to the country's national football teams-a move seen as a step toward elevating team morale and readiness for upcoming fixtures.

Balotti, speaking at the handover ceremony, described national teams as symbols of unity and national pride.

He called on more sponsors to follow in these footsteps and confirmed a donation of paint for NFA Soccer House renovations.

Ekandjo recounted how the idea was sparked by a heartfelt letter from the late NFA General Secretary, Charles Siyauya, highlighting the teams' shortage of proper kits.

He emphasized the importance of giving players dignity and pride through official uniforms.

Representing the Namibia Football Association, Situde expressed sincere gratitude for the gesture.

He emphasized how initiatives like these are critical to football development in the country and help uplift the sport at national level.

The donation, valued at close to N$500,000, includes four full sets of official kits for all national teams, goalkeeper kits, sneakers, bags, water bottles, and over 50 extras.

The gear was provided in partnership with sports brand 90Min Plus.

Award-winning local artists Top Cheri and Racxa lit up the stage with electrifying performances, adding an entertainment flair to the celebratory event.

The NFA is expected to announce soon when and where replicas of the new jerseys will be made available to the public.

The symbolic gesture was welcomed by both players and officials, with hopes that the fresh kits will inspire renewed energy and commitment as Namibia continues its pursuit of footballing excellence on the continental and global stage.
