The Namibia Football Association (NFA) Football House in Windhoek was the scene of celebration as national teams received brand-new football kits, donated by Tim Ekandjo and friends.

Worth nearly N$500,000, the donation included full gear for both male and female teams—drawing heartfelt praise from players, coaches, and artists alike.

The historic moment drew warm reactions from national team representatives, who welcomed the gesture with open arms and hopeful hearts.

Brave Warriors coach Colin Benjamin shared his gratitude for the initiative, noting the positive morale boost it brings to the team.

He believes it is a stepping stone toward improved performance and team spirit.

Benjamin went on to highlight the importance of community and private support in football development, calling on more individuals to emulate such generosity.

For Brave Gladiators defender Lydiana Nanamus, the moment was especially meaningful.

She expressed joy that, for the first time, the women's team would receive their own designated kits rather than sharing with their male counterparts—a sign that women's football is finally getting the recognition it deserves.

Local artist Top Cheri, who performed at the ceremony, praised the initiative as a necessary boost for Namibian football and encouraged more people to follow this example.

While the kits are now in the hands of the players, the symbolic impact of the handover will likely resonate far beyond the field, representing progress, unity, and hope for Namibian football.
