The Masubia Traditional Authority has installed Raphael Mbala as its Ngambela.

Ngambela Mbala is the former councillor of Kabbe South Constituency and a former teacher.  

He replaced Albius Kamwi, who had served in the same position for 13 years.

In 2021, after the death of Munitenge Kisco Maiba Liswani III, Kamwi became the custodian representing the Masubia Traditional Authority.

He did so until the inauguration of Munitenge Gilbert Mutwa, Moraliswani III, in May 2025.
