Erongo Governor Natalia |Goagoses has called on unemployed youth to apply to the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Centre in Omaruru, which will begin accepting applications from the 20th of April.
In January, the Erongo Governor took decisive action to repurpose a yellow building in Omaruru that had stood unused for more than 23 years.
The facility is now being transformed into a centre aimed at providing critical skills and training opportunities for Namibian youth.
|Goagoses said significant progress has been made in recent months.
The centre will focus on industry-relevant programmes, particularly those linked to the region's mining sector.
Young people, especially in rural areas such as Okombahe and Uis, are being encouraged to apply.
An awareness and outreach campaign will be rolled out to ensure prospective students across the country are informed.
