The Minister of International Relations and Trade, Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, said Namibia and France continue to strengthen their diplomatic and economic relations, noting that the two countries cooperate through diplomatic missions and growing business engagements.
Speaking ahead of the Africa Forward Summit in Kenya, Ashipala-Musavyi said Namibia will also host a separate Namibia-France business programme aimed at connecting private sector players from both countries and promoting investment opportunities beyond the energy sector.
Namibia is participating in the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, which the minister said aligns with the country’s national development priorities.
The event is co-hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron and Kenyan President William Ruto, with a focus on innovation, growth, and partnerships in areas like energy, agriculture, and manufacturing.
