This past weekend, Sakaria "Desert Storm" Lukas unfortunately lost against American defending champion Raymond Ford via TKO in the 8th round of their WBA Intercontinental America Featherweight title fight.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Namibian boxing veteran Sakaria Lukas took on American international Raymond Ford for the WBA Intercontinental America Featherweight title.

After an intense battle in the first few rounds, Lukas was unfortunately caught off guard as Ford managed to lay a powerful left hook that knocked Lukas to the ground in the 8th round. The TKO led to his overall loss.

Lukas' trainer Imms Moses, said that it was a great night of boxing and that it was not so much about a win but rather about being a part of an event of such magnitude.
