Kaomo Vijanda Tjombe buried

Former nbc employee Kaomo Vijanda Tjombe was laid to rest at the Pionierspark cemetery by family, friends, and loved ones.

Tjombe (65) was a Radio News Editor at the national broadcaster before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, son Katjo, and siblings.

Kehemu Primary School renamed to Jafet Haiyambo

40 years after its establishment, the Kehemu Primary School in Rundu has been renamed after its first principal, Jafet Haiyambo.

The school was established in 1984, with about 450 learners and 11 teachers.

It then catered to learners from grades one to four, accommodated in 10 classrooms.
