The heavy rainfall yesterday damaged several houses in Windhoek, leaving residents scrambling to repair them this morning.

Among the worst-hit areas were Otjomuise, Havana, and Greenwell Matongo, where many homeowners were seen patching up broken structures.

Chaos and confusion continue to persist due to the absence of traffic lights at the Havana four-way intersection on Peter Eneas Nanyemba, formerly Monte Christo Road.

The continuous roadwork in Havana makes the situation at the 4-way crossroads even more challenging for simple access.
