The late Axali Doëseb was buried at Pioneerspark Cemetery in Windhoek.

Doëseb died at the age of 68 on the 27th of last month.

In a poignant tribute, the congregants of the Tanidare Church, together with the Otjomuise Brass Band, resonated memories of a musical legacy as they paid their final respects to the renowned late music conductor, Axali Doëseb.

Family and friends paid tribute to the late renowned musician Axali Doëseb as they gathered at the ELRCN's Bet-El Parish in Katutura to celebrate his life through church songs, many of which he composed.

The Presidency has clarified the writer status of Axali Doëseb, who is also the composer of Namibia's National Anthem.
