The Namibia Institute of Mining and Technology (NIMT) signed a collective agreement with the Namibia Public Workers Union (NAPWU) and the Namibia National Teachers' Union (NANTU) in Windhoek.

During the event, it was revealed that employees had received a five percent salary increase over a period of 30 years.

The parties reached consensus on salary and benefit increases for the 2024/2025 financial year.
