The Minister of Finance, Ericah Shafudah, said the government will soon roll out plans to fully digitise the process for submitting annual income tax returns.

The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) has extended the deadline for filing tax returns to 31 August.
 
NamRA announced in a statement that the extension was necessitated by delays in resolving technical issues affecting the functionality of the Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS).
 

Despite the lapsed deadline for all individuals to file their tax returns, the Namibia Revenue Agency is urging those who have not filed to still do so.

Yesterday, the Agency experienced a last-minute rush.

Today is D-day for the submission of individual tax returns, and the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) has issued a reminder to that effect.
