This is according to community members who have called on the police and courts not to grant bail to suspects with pending cases.

The 2023/24 budget has allocated 10 million to green schemes projects

The government has allocated an amount of N$10 million in the 2023/2024 budget for the development of the Neckartal Dam Irrigation Project.

The project will run on two farms of a combined size of 11 000 hectares, acquired by the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform.

Ogongo Agricultural Campus expands fish and rice farming production

The University of Namibia's Ogongo Agricultural Campus has expanded its integrated fish and rice farming production for this year.

Head of the Department for Crop Production Dr. Simon Awala says the current flood waters could also be used to cultivate rice in the affected areas.
