Members of Parliament in the National Assembly have objected to the tabling of ten bills during Wednesday's session because of a lack of quorum.

The Landless People's Movement's Bernadus Swartbooi has expressed disappointment with the National Assembly, stating that it fails to embody a democratic space rooted in values and virtues. 

Swartbooi questioned whether the issues debated truly reflect the serious demands of and for the people.
