The late Bennett Kangumu was buried at Chisawo Village in the Zambezi Region.

Kangumu, who was the University of Namibia's Katima Mulilo campus director, died following illness.

The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund has inaugurated an N$11 million service centre at Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi Region.

Muyako residents in the Katima Mulilo Rural Constituency are saddened by the delay in the construction of the Bukalo-Muyako-Ibbu and Ngoma roads.

The residents say development promises made to them were never honoured.

The community members raised their concerns during a meeting on Thursday.
