Over the past five years, Namibia's exports to Brazil have decreased by 11% annually.

NamPol seizes nearly 745,000kg of cannabis in nationwide July operations

The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) seized nearly 745,000 kilogrammes of cannabis during a series of operations around the country in July.

NamPol, in a statement on Thursday, said various drug substances were confiscated and 130 individuals arrested between 01 and 31 July.

The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) recorded over 100,000 cases of victims of trafficking globally, with approximately 5,000 new cases each year.

Currently, the organisation globally assists seven to nine thousand victims annually.
