Congo fever under control

The three people who were admitted to the isolation unit in the Windhoek Central Hospital have been cleared of Congo Fever. The three, who are related to the 62-year-old man who died from Congo Fever last week, were admitted to the unit for close monitoring. Acting Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Health and Social Services Bertha Katjivena said in a statement that no alarming incidents were reported from the Omusati Region, where the case originated from. The ministry further cautioned the public who display symptoms of sudden high fever, headaches, joint, and or back pain, dizziness, and have been in direct contact to contact their nearest health facility.
