The Groot Aub clergyman who faces a charge of involvement in a sexual relationship with a minor, has appeared in the Katutura Magistrate's Court. Thirty four year old Elvis Jansen was not asked to plead and will appear in court again on Tuesday for a formal bail hearing. His lawyer, Winnie Christians says, it is alleged that the accused had a relationship with a 16-year-old girl. Jansen turned himself in to the police at Rehoboth on Friday after having fled from the police at Groot Aub, hours earlier. Magistrate Tungweni Velikoshi ordered that Jansen remains in the police holding cells at the Hosea Kutako International Airport until his bail hearing on Tuesday.
