Namibia Primary School now protected by new wall

Learners at the Namibia Primary School can now feel safe. The learners were in the past exposed to so many social ills such as drugs, emotional and physical abuse. In a bid to protect them from such harmful practices B2Gold Namibia constructed a boundary wall at a cost of N$2 million. Formerly known as Katutura Primary, the Namibia Primary School is situated in Katutura central constituency and host over 1 000 learners. In the past community members would sell goods and exchange all sort of things with learners through the fence. This has increased cases of substance abuse among learners as drug dealers also target and sell to them through the fence. Residents who live near the school would also jump into the school yard, abusing children physically and emotionally.
