The Ovambanderu Traditional Authority Ombara and former Deputy Minister of Works, Kilus Munjuku III Nguvauva has died. His death was confirmed by the Traditional Authority Councillor Ripuree Tjozongoro on NBC's Omurari radio service this morning. Tjozongoro says Nguvauva died in Gobabis from COVID-19 complications. The former Deputy Minister of Works was coronated as Chief of the Ovambanderu Traditional Authority in 2014. Nguvauva succeeded his father, Munjuku Nguvauva II, who led the Ovambanderu community for more than five decades until his death in 2008
