The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) member of Parliament, Vipuakuje Muharukua has tabled a motion, requesting lawmakers to visit Kunene Region to familiarise themselves with the persistent drought that had killed thousands of livestock in the area. Deteriorating grazing conditions being experienced in most parts of the country amidst poor and below-average rainfall led to thousands of animals dying and Kunene north where the Ovahimba people reside, is the most affected.
