President Geingob extends condolences to Hangula’s family

President Hage Geingob has extended his condolences to the family of the late Retired Lieutenant General Lukas Petrus Hangula, who died in Windhoek on Monday Hangula, also known as 'Fogo', served as former Director-General of the Namibia Central Intelligence Service between 2006 and 2016; and as an advisor to that post between 2016 and 2020. Prior to that, he had served as Inspector General of the Namibian Police Force. President Geingob described Hangula as "a dedicated freedom fighter with a decorated military career" whose wise council could be called on at all times.
