Otjozondjupa regional council chairperson, Marlyn Mbakera is appealing to private businesses to come forth and assist in repairing damaged mortuary fridges in the region. Mbakera says the state mortuaries at Otjiwarongo, Okakarara and Okahandja are under pressure, given the increasing number of deaths attributed to COVID-19, and they cannot accommodate all bodies.
