A group calling themselves youth of Kavango East Region are demonstrating at Rundu in support of under-fire Governor, Bonifatius Wakudumo. They are opposed to the calls that Wakudumo is removed as Governor, demands made by protesters in December last year. The residents wanted Wakudumo removed after he appointed a Chinese national as his economic and development advisor, an appointment he has since rescinded. The group is expected to hand a petition to the regional council and the Governor.
