Netball Namibia President Rebecca //Goagoses told NBC Sport this week that they used the just-concluded Namibian Newspaper Cup to scout players for the under-19 and 20 national squads. 

The Namibian Newspaper Cup, which kicked off on the 7th of April, provided Netball Namibia with a valuable opportunity to scout players.

Last year, the under 20 Netball team participated in the Region 5 Youth Games, which were hosted in Malawi, where the Baby Desert Jewels unfortunately lost most of their games.

This year, Netball Namibia executive members decided to use the newspaper cup to identify talented players that will represent the country at different events.
 
Speaking to NBC Sport, Netball Namibia President Rebecca /Gaogoses said there was lot of talent that highlighted fair play in all 14 regions.
