Grade five pupils from the Oranjemund Private School visited State House as part of their school tour on Tuesday.

Accompanied by their teachers, the learners had the opportunity to engage President Hage Geingob, First Lady Monica Geingos, and Vice President Nangolo Mbumba on a number of topical issues.

Discussions ranged from history, politics, socio-economic development, and the future aspirations of the learners.

They were further shown around the offices by the Chief Public Relations Officer at State House, Dennis Shikwambi.

He explained to them the functions of each office within the State House.

Apart from being the seat of the President, State House also caters to the offices of the Vice President, First Lady, Minister in the Presidency, and former Presidents.

Others include the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board, regional governors, and the Government Air Transport Services.
