A 25-year-old unemployed resident of Swakopmund who is a mother of 6-week-old triplets is calling on the public for assistance to help her take care of her babies.
Klementina Hangula, 25, is overwhelmed after giving birth to triplets at the Swakopmund Hospital last month.
She said she was shocked when the doctor told her she was about to deliver not one, but three bundles of joy.
The triplets are two boys and a girl who are in need of baby formula and baby clothes, among other things.
Hangula says the children's father, who is also unemployed, was also surprised to hear that they were going to have triplets.
He then moved to Windhoek to look for greener pastures in the hope of finding a decent job to support his family.
She says he is currently trying to make a living, but it's almost impossible for him to send money.
Currently, she stays with her brother in a shack on the outskirts of Swakopmund, near the DRC informal settlement.
Her brother, Cleopas Hangula, is a seasonal contract employee with no stable income.
However, he owns a daycare centre that generates about N$1,500 monthly but is all used to pay rent.
