Robberies, theft, murder, suicide, culpable homicide, and possession of harmful substances were crimes reported by the Police this past weekend.

Three deaths by suicide were recorded, the first being Mashadia Marques, a resident of Windhoek's Dorado Valley.

She hanged herself at home, allegedly following an argument with her husband.

Sem Johannes from Windhoek's Wanaheda also hanged himself, while an Okahao resident identified only as Mapenzi also took his own life by hanging.

In another incident, a 28-year-old suspect was arrested after allegedly unlawfully and intentionally killing a springbok on communal land.

The suspect is expected to appear in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate's Court on Monday.

Police have opened an inquest docket into the case of Kaen Amutenya, who was found dead with a gunshot wound to her forehead at Spokiesdorp in Luderitz.

She was reportedly found inside a locked toilet.

A 7-millimetre pistol, believed to belong to the deceased's father, was found on the scene, along with one spent cartridge.

Cloete Obandja Sefanja was found dead by his girlfriend in their house at Omulunga in Grootfontein, while Womitondo Luavunga from Kongola died when a tree he was chopping fell on him.

Ailine Mawere collapsed in a bus and died suddenly at Puma Service Station, Otjiwarongo.

She was travelling from Katima Mulilo to Windhoek.
