Renowned musician Sadrag Theofilus Nakale was buried in his home village of Ekoka in the Ohangwena Region. The late Nakale was part of the Sadrag, Mesag, and Abednego triplets.

Reports state that they were the first triplets born at Onandjokwe Lutheran Hospital 60 years ago. The trio, who were comedians, loved singing together, especially at weddings and other gatherings.

Mesag and Abednego, however, died in 2002 and 2009, respectively.

The deaths of his brothers did not deter Sadrag, well known by his last name, Nakale ya Nakale or Sisande, from continuing to sing. He died of cancer, but his music continues to resonate in the minds of many. Mourners described him as a legend, compassionate, sympathetic, tidy, an extraordinary father, a person full of humour, and an inspiration to many local artists. Swapo Secretary General Sophia Shaningwa, in a message delivered on her behalf, described the star as a dedicated and progressive one who touched many lives through his music.

She said the late Nakale made a meaningful contribution to promoting culture and traditions and used his talents to canvass and mobilise support for the Swapo Party.
