The Namibian Football Association has made an announcement regarding the approaching deadline for the submission of nominations for the NFA Elective Congress. Members have only two days left to submit their nominations, as the congress is scheduled to take place on November 17, 2023.

During the 18th Extraordinary Congress, the association successfully passed two amended documents: the amended statutes and the Electoral Code. This achievement is considered a significant milestone for the Normalization Committee, which is currently focusing on administrative restructuring and making preparations for the upcoming leadership elections.

The congress will consist of delegates from various divisions and associations, including the Premiership, Southern Stream First and North West Stream Division, Regional Leagues, Futsal, Women's Association, and Beach Football.

The committee's primary objective is to fulfill FIFA's mandate and ensure a seamless transition to a new leadership team. It is crucial for all interested candidates to submit their nominations for the Executive Board by October 20, 2023.
