A rainstorm demolished the shacks of several families in Rundu's Ndama Sewer and Tumweneni Informal neighbourhoods, leaving them homeless.
Some families in Rundu are left picking up the pieces after a rainstorm caused havoc.
The aftermath is a mixture of destroyed dwellings, damaged property, and feelings of despair.
Weather conditions also caused physical harm to those who were found indoors.
This man was sleeping in his shack when he got injured by a corrugated iron sheet.
Another man, Edward Kandjeke, said his family narrowly survived the ordeal.
"My family and I were inside our shack, and we nearly died in there. A strong wind came, and the next thing we see is our shack up in the air."
Most of the affected residents are concerned about how they are going to rebuild their lives, saying they don't have access to building materials.
