Freddy Mwiya, the Chief Administrator of the Namibia Sports Commission, expressed his satisfaction with the recently held NFA Congress in Windhoek.
As one of the observers during the congress, Mwiya commended the participants for their maturity and adherence to the relevant statutes.
He highlighted the importance of having well-defined policies and statutes within an organization to ensure smooth operations, especially during a presidential race like the one between Patrick Kauta and Robert Shimooshili.
Mwiya emphasized that the congress had adopted these statutes in October, and it was crucial to ensure compliance with them.
Mwiya was pleased with the overall harmony and fair election process at the congress, which was overseen by FIFA officials. He expressed his happiness that stakeholders came together and showed signs of maturity, further uniting the football community.
Looking ahead, Mwiya believes that all stakeholders will continue to work together to foster unity in football, just as they did during the Dr. Hage Geingob Cup.
