The Endola Annual SME and Youth Expo in the Ohangwena Region is set to start this Thursday until Sunday at Endola.

The expo aims to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to display and market their goods and services.

The organiser of the Endola Annual SME and Youth Expo, Miryam Haipinge, says that the expo is crucial for small businesses in terms of networking and growth and to uplift economic activities in rural areas, where they are currently low.

The organiser of the Endola Annual SME and Youth Expo, Miryam Haipinge, says, "It promotes economic development and growth in the village as well as the country itself. It brings innovation and creativity to the Endola community and provides jobs for people there. It has a great effect on the Endola community as well as neighbouring villages."

Haipinge says the expo is an opportunity for the youth to be exposed to business and innovative ideas.

She stated that this year, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security will be part of the expo to assist people who are in need of national identity documents.

The adult entrance fee is N$30, while children will pay N$10.
