A senior citizen, Anna Ndemuula, says there is a need for religious and moral education in schools.

Ndemula says nowadays' generation is out of hand, citing that the removal of Bible teaching in schools is one of the factors contributing to moral decay.

She says Bible education is the only solution that can restore the mindset of today's generation.

Ndemuula says growing up, the Bible was a daily dose that nurtured discipline, obedience, respect, and the fear of God, which youngsters seem to lack nowadays, and all they want to do is party all night long and dress half naked.

Ndemuula says youth nowadays also believe that they know everything and want to lead without direction.

Ndemuula was speaking to nbc News during the handover of the belated Christmas gifts by the |Khomas' Moses ||Garoëb Constituency office.

The gift packs consist of rice, coffee, cooking oil, and washing powder, just to mention a few.

The councillor at Moses ||Garoëb Constituency, Stefanus Ndengu, says the handover is just one of the many programmes planned for the elderly.
