Numerous youth leaders came to the fore to express their condolences to the nation.
Among them was Sylvanus Lotto, the Regional Chairperson of the Tukwatha Youth Organisation.
The Tukwatha Youth Organisation aims to aid and occasionally organise activities for other youth groups.
The youth organisation expressed its condolences on the passing of the late President.
Lotto says the late president's youthful energy profoundly influenced Namibians.
"As young leaders, we must carry forward the teaching of peace that our late President led. We must embody his principles, work tirelessly, and maintain the stability and harmony he strived for. We should do it through our collective efforts so that we can honour his memory and continue building a nation that strives for unity. In this time of mourning, let us not forget the importance of reflecting on our own roles in shaping the future of our country."
