Namibia's Richelieu Eagles are touring Scotland, where they will compete in a Tri-Nations series against the hosts and Oman.
The Richelieu Eagles will compete in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 Series from July 16th to 28th in Scotland.
The Richelieu Eagles played both Oman and Scotland during the T20 Men's World Cup in the West Indies and the USA, beating Oman by 11 runs in a Super over and losing to Scotland by five wickets.
While the ODI format might be different from the T20 format, the Richelieu Eagles will be competing for every ball and run as they aim to step up in the 50-over format.
The team won't be short of match practice, having hosted the Punjab Cricket Association in four ODI matches from July 3rd to 10th at Wanderers Cricket Ground.
Although they lost the series captain Gerhard Erasmus says that the series against Punjab was great for the team as they were tested in various facets of the game, and that it will help them during the series in Scotland.
The captain also highlighted the importance of the T20 games, as they help prepare for the longer format of the game.
The Richelieu Eagles will play their first game on July 18th against Oman, with the Scotland match set for July 20th.
They will then play Oman again on July 24th and wrap up the series with a match against Scotland on July 26th.
