Richelieu Eagles ready for Scotland tour

Namibia's Richelieu Eagles are touring Scotland, where they will compete in a Tri-Nations series against the hosts and Oman.

The Richelieu Eagles will compete in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 Series from July 16th to 28th in Scotland.

The Richelieu Eagles played both Oman and Scotland during the T20 Men's World Cup in the West Indies and the USA, beating Oman by 11 runs in a Super over and losing to Scotland by five wickets.

The Richelieu Eagles all-rounder, Ruben Trumplemann, says that the game against Oman, which they won by eleven runs in the super over, was a great team performance.

The Richelieu Eagles continued their fine form of never having lost their opening games at a T20 World Cup with another excellent performance against Oman in their opening game in Group B in Bridgetown, Barbados on Monday.

Like in any World Cup, Championship, or tournament, winning your opening game gives the team a good springboard to build on.
