Vice President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has appealed to the Namibian nation to love one another, be united, and care for each other’s well-being.

She said this while attending the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mondesa, Swakopmund.

Nandi-Ndaitwah finds it worrisome that many criminal activities are reported in a peaceful and loving nation.

Therefore, she urged Christians to pray for unity and peace, as churches play a pivotal role in shaping society.

She says that the church and the government have the same mission, whereby the church caters to the nation's spiritual needs while the government ensures that the people's material needs are well taken care of.
