Swapo Central Committee member, Derek Klazen, assured the residents of Imukusi in Zambezi Region of the party's commitment to delivering education and healthcare services to the masses.

He addressed a mini Swapo rally at Imukusi on Thursday.

Klazen stated that the party remains committed to good governance and is a beacon of strength and resilience, taking education and healthcare seriously.

He emphasized that education and healthcare are vital to the nation's prosperity, and under the leadership of Swapo, schools, hospitals, and clinics have been built across the country, empowering people with knowledge and safeguarding their wellbeing.

Despite false misinformation being spread in the public domain, Swapo remains competent in transparency and accountability.

He called upon all individuals and companies that are given responsibilities by the government, such as fishing rights, to ensure that they fulfill their corporate social responsibilities in the communities in which they operate.

Klazen mentioned that the Swapo Party-led government has developed a lot of infrastructure across the country, but more still needs to be done in partnership with other stakeholders. He emphasized that the Swapo Party is a tested party and has stood firm in the fight against economic emancipation for all.

He urged all registered individuals to vote on November 27.

Klazen noted that since the exploration confirmed the presence of precious minerals in the Zambezi Region, mining them will provide employment opportunities for residents of the region and other regions. Additionally, the minerals will lead to the construction of schools, clinics, and other necessary infrastructure in the region and the country as a whole.
