Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) President McHenry Venaani has been discharged from a Windhoek hospital, where he was admitted for four days.
This information was revealed by the party's presidential spokesperson, Roberto Dirkse.
"We are very happy to announce that honourable Venaani has been discharged from the hospital following his admission with severe flu symptoms. We would like to report that he is at home, where he is recuperating very well. He is in high spirits. I would also like to take the opportunity to send honourable Venaani heartfelt gratitude to all the members of the public that send their well wishes and messages of support during this time. The outpouring of care from the public is not only deeply appreciated and has contributed immensely and positively. As such, Hon. Venaani and his family are grateful for the support from public members and excellent medical care by the medical practitioners who oversaw him during his admission. As Hon. Venaani focuses on his road to recovery, he is committed to his duty and responsibility and will return to office soon."
