The Basketball Artists School Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing young basketball talent and promoting holistic development, recently hosted a successful 3-day holiday camp for its club members.
The camp, filled with exciting activities and expert coaching, provided a unique opportunity for participants to hone their basketball skills, learn valuable life lessons, and connect with like-minded peers.
Founded in October 2014, the Basketball Artists School Foundation aims to be an after-school program focused on education, life skills and basketball.
Through its community outreach initiatives, the foundation strives to create a positive and supportive environment for young people to grow and thrive.
The holiday camp offered a diverse range of activities, including basketball drills, games, and competitions, as well as workshops on sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy living.
On the first day, participants took part in Olympics celebrations. NNOC Secretary General Joan Smit and Olympian Beatrice Masilingi shared their perspective regarding the initiative and its impact on the community.
Some of the coaches involved in the camp discuss their experiences and the progress made by the participants. We also heard from several participants about their impressions of the camp and how it benefited them.
The Basketball Artists School Foundation continues to be a driving force in empowering young people through sports and education.
By providing opportunities for growth, development, and fun, the foundation is making a lasting impact on the lives of its participants.
